The official ground breaking of Aldi Grocery's new 821,000 square foot distribution facility in Royal Palm Beach Florida took place on July 31st. Farmer & Irwin is looking forward to getting started as the Fire Protection Contractor after being selected by General Contractor, A.M. King of Charlotte North Carolina to provide the Fire Sprinkler system for the new facility. The project totals 21 systems including 15 wet pipe and 6 pre-action double interlock systems with over 7200 sprinkler heads to be installed. To provide the water pressure and volume needed for the building a 2000 GPM diesel powered fire pump will be fitted and installed as well.
